My dearest friend, I write to thee,

To share the joys of summertime with glee,

The sun doth shine so bright and bold,

And all around is green and gold.

The flowers bloom in every hue,

And bees and butterflies dance anew,

The air is warm, the sky is blue,

And all of nature feels brand new.

The days are long and full of fun,

With picnics, swims, and walks in the sun,

We laugh and play until the night,

When stars and fireflies light up our sight.

But amidst the joy, there's also heat,

That sometimes feels too much to beat,

We seek relief in shady nooks,

Or with ice cream and cold lemonade in crooks.

Oh, how I love the summer season,

With all its warmth and lovely reason,

I hope this letter finds you well,

And that you too can hear the summer's bell.

With love and warmth, your dear friend,

Enjoy the season until the very end.
