I’m a bit like a calico cat,
When I wear my orange and black hat,
And I tip the brim down as I prance about town,
Singing songs in notes rather flat.
I’m a tad like a grandiose bird,
Trying hard to force in a word,
When I spread open my feathers, in form fitting leathers,
And squawk loudly to be sure I am heard.
You might think me a grizzled black boar,
When I come bursting in through the door,
And in words sharp and short, to my lovely escort,
Stress the need to attend to me more.
But this blonde headed dog is no mortal,
That slips in and out of a portal,
Like a humdrum faction, too lazy for action,
That whimpers and begs for a chortle.
Give me the wide berth of a bear,
With bared teeth and an unblinking stare,
For I’ve many a way to make a man pay,
Who dare question my debonair flare.
