The Color We Can Not Speak

I wonder if you remember me?

I am the color you can not speak.

My embrace waits for you along the edge of your mind,

Within silence,

And In dreams.

You dare not speak of me, for I vanish at even a whisper…

I am hidden in the eyes of your loved ones

A reflection,

That shimmers.

Like during their cool silent sadness of everlasting departure.

Or in their warm radiant happiness of returns.

You see,

I know you well.

My riches know no bounds

I overflow like a fountain,

Sprouting forth pride unbounded.

I travel eternities time and time again only to see you.

Sun or moonlight is always with me, for how else could I reach you?

Even in your dreams,

This is how I meet you.

Did you know you dream in color?

For color does not exist outside of the light.

Although I am hidden from you, It's you that hides from me.

It is you who chooses the starlight moments for us to meet.
