Before its death

the cloud of fog

first entered the environs

to hit and compete

with the tallest peak

of mean mountain

only then

when failed

it went on

to rather float

along the river’s skin

placid and tender

only then

it felt cold

enough to lose life

and air-kissed the death

Thank you for reading my poetic work.

This one is the briefest work of poem marked with brevity. It has an element of sadness mingled with nature. Hope you would like it.
