The Clocks Go Back
When the clocks go back, time shifts anew,
We gain an hour, that much is true.
A pause in the day, a chance to reflect,
Simple moments come, perfect to respect.
The evening light lingers, a bit more to share,
Quiet walks outside, fresh autumn air.
We settle in, with books or a show,
In the warmth of home, time moves slow.
So here's to the clock, and the change that it brings,
Extra moments to cherish, in the little things.
When the clocks go back, let’s make it count,
In the heart of the night, let the happiness mount.

I've been writing poetry since the age of fourteen. With pen in hand, I wander through realms unseen. The pen holds power; ink reveals hidden thoughts. A poet may speak truth or weave a tale. You decide. Let pen and ink capture your mind❤️
