The Cat That Stole the Market Fish
Even the fish man laughed with glee

The Cat That Stole the Market Fish
In the bustling market, alive with cheer,
Where scents of the sea drew crowds near,
A playful tabby, small and spry,
Spotted a fish beneath the sky.
Its whiskers twitched, its heart took flight,
Not out of greed, but pure delight.
For in its mind, a feast was planned,
A simple gift from sea to land.
With a gentle paw, it made its way,
Through stalls of treasures on display.
A fish, unguarded, shining bright,
Became its focus, its pure delight.
The fishmonger turned, his laughter loud,
Noticing paws in the bustling crowd.
“Hey, little thief!” he called with glee,
But the cat just purred, unbound, and free.
Through alleys warm and sunlit beams,
The tabby danced in playful dreams.
No problem, no crime, just nature’s play,
A cat and fish on a market day.
A feast was shared beneath a tree,
A moment of joy, wild and free.
For in the market’s lively heart,
The cat and fish had played their part.
