The Camel, The Elephant, and The toothless Croc
It’s all fun and games today they are in a mood

The Camel with the Hump, The Elephant and The toothless Croc
The camel had the hump today,
And not the one that helps him sway,
He stomped and spat and kicked a tree,
Don’t even look, he warned at me.
The elephant flapped paint all around,
Insisting he’d create profound,
He painted his trunk, then sat on his head,
Modern art, he proudly said.
The crocodile snapped, well, gave it a try,
But toothless gums just made folk cry,
From laughing so hard at his gummy bite,
You’re scary, I was, all right.
So here they sit in a grumpy bunch,
Arguing loudly over lunch,
The camel shouts, I’m misunderstood,
The elephant grumbles, My art’s too good.
And toothless Croc with a plastic grin
Keeps threatening folks with his double chin,
But deep inside, they’re just all bark,
The noisiest crew in the whole damn park.

What a lovely light-hearted piece. You could build a whole children's story around this poem.
Hilarious and oddly heartwarming — I'd visit this chaotic zoo any day!
What a great humorous story for children of all ages.
