The Birds and the Bees the Flowers Among the Trees
I sit with them every day

The Birds and the Bees, the Flowers Among the Trees
The birds don’t care who’s watching them
they sing because they want to sing
no schedule set, no lines to learn
just morning air and beating wing
The bees turn up like tiny guests
to sip the bloom and move along
they don’t apologise or fret
they simply hum and carry on
The flowers bloom like no one’s told
just open-faced and full of grace
they know the tree will lend them shade
they never try to take its place
And all of it moves quiet, sure
no need for more than sky and ground
no hearts to break, no words to twist
just roots that hold and wings unbound
I watch them live without regret
no second-guessing what should be
the birds, the bees, the flowers bright
they never needed love from me
But I come back most every day
to sit beneath the same old tree
and in that hush where no one speaks
they always share their peace with me

Appreciative...
Gentle, grounding, and full of quiet wisdom. Nature says so much without ever needing to speak — and you’ve captured that beautifully.
What an ode to nature. Good job.
As a kid I feared them now I love to see them. Nature is a delight-nice poem
