Anguished and afraid, always alone

Aching heart, abandoned and unknown

Anxiety attacks, almost every day

Alone in the darkness, I can only pray

Ailments and afflictions, all around

Agony and anguish, abound

Aching and alone, I ask why

Answers are absent, as I cry

Alone in the night, an awful abyss

Aching for comfort, but nothing seems to fit

Aching and anguished, I am lost

All alone, I bear the cost

Aimlessly searching, always afraid

Aching for acceptance, but constantly betrayed

All I need is someone to care

A shoulder to lean on, someone to share

At last, a light, a glimmer of hope

All-consuming love, helps me to cope

All the anguish slowly fades away

And in my heart, a new dawn of day.
