The real voyage of discovery consists not in seeking new landscapes, but in having new eyes. Marcel Proust
I’m the broken melody
The song sung
Off Key
I’m the dream
That was shattered
And the reminder that
Hope Matters.
~~~~~~
I’m the voice
Of the voiceless
The song
To the soundless
I’m the tears that
Were shed
The love that was
And is
Even long after
The images
Faded.
~~~~~~
I’m the angry
The jaded
The mismatched
The faded.
~~~
I’m the joy
After the sorrow
The laughter
After the tears.
~~~~~~
I’m the broken melody
The song sung
Off key
