Chapters of Grief

Chapter One: The Joyous Song

Each page a tear, a mutter sigh,

A story notch in ink so dry,

Of love once bright, now fading fast,

A chapter closed, a moment past.

The first few lines, a joyous song,

Of laughter shared, where we belonged,

A symphony of hearts entwined,

A future bright, a love defined.

Chapter Two: The Shadow Falls

But then the ink begins to bleed,

A somber tone, a whispered need,

A shadow falls, a heart grows cold,

A tale unfolds, a story told.

Each chapter now, a heavy weight,

Of memories lost, a cruel fate,

A broken vow, a whispered plea,

A haunting sound , eternally.

Chapter Three: The Glimmer of Hope

Yet even in this book of grief,

A glimmer shines, a small relief,

For every page, a lesson learned,

A strength renewed, a heart discerned.

The final chapter, yet to write,

A promise made, a guiding light,

To heal the wounds, to mend the tear,

To turn the page, and face the year.

Chapter Four: Legacy of Strength

For sorrow's chapters, though they grieve,

A testament to love, they leave,

A legacy of strength untold,

In every page, a story bold.
