The book I Wanted to read

poem on experience

By Karun Published 2 years ago 1 min read

I knew in my heart

The book sat waiting

Yet time slipped through

I wanted to flippthe page

my heart skipped a beat

It called out to me

The book I wanted to read

When will you come my dear

Why don't you read me

is that love or fear

dive into words

Set your mind free

wings glides mind birds

It Lived within me and continued to

The book that I wanted to read

Calls my name when I'm low

It's my one and only need

The book that loved me

The universe of my history

The sky land and sea

The book I wanted to read

Existed in no library

I write the chapters of my days

Diary of my experience

The book I wanted

was the book I owned

It's my life,my rules forever mine

It had no ink but woven by threads of time

Now its your turn

And my title is Karun
