The Blues of a Woman's Heart
Unfiltered
One believes for so long
There is nowhere she belongs.
She knows she would be better with love
Forgetting about the One above.
Defeated, she was down on her luck.
Powerful, a bolt of lightning struck ...
The Lord makes His presence known.
He speaks, "My child, I am your home".
He leads her through darkness to light
The flame of her soul ignites
Brightening the lantern she lit
For the world's eye to behold the gift,
A heart-held miracle molded by the Holy Spirit.
This woman returns to God's love today
Very eager to pray
She can breathe into her dream,
Stand back out of its way ...
Releasing it to glide along its beam.
