The Blessed Mother

Life Giving Tree

By MPPublished 5 years ago 1 min read
I rose again

Your humbleness generated my life

You nurtured me and provided for me

When I was defenseless you always kept me in view

Your love protects me but pain cuts like a knife

You know the path set before me is agony

Those who want good for me are few

When I stumbled and fell you rose me like a tree

Your boy's innocence will overcome all tyranny

Your love in others I promise to imbue

The lonely road I must walk but you do not agree

A path I will pave for others like a symphony

On my back the fears of man I do accrue

I'm destined for more my blessed mother

I take a step forward to face my destiny

Words will bleed from me a new red hue

To all I will show the way like a big brother

In silence you see me wounded by my enemy

Vindication for them I proclaim with a groan

A path of pain I have paved my blessed mother

Because of you I rose again to be a life giving tree

In your love I will forever peacefully stand firm
