A blank canvas, stark, greets our beginning.
We have our colours chosen for us in the beginning: primary, red, yellow, and blue. We grow, we change, we question. What choices do we make? What images should we display? What colours should be used, mixed, and created?
We rush out, young, idyllic, energetic, brash. We start the rebirth of our canvas, we plan, we learn, we fail. We start fresh, paint over and start anew.
Our environment changes, our supplies are running low, have we run out of green? Or blue? What remains? Metallics, harsh and cold, unfeeling. Our blues and greens, so overused, unreplenished, unprotected...
Our canvas, judged by those around us, is made of the colours available to us, unique to our design, environment, and experiences, limited by our access but open to our advancements.
Unappreciated by some, worshipped by others, our canvas is a struggle to learn and understand. Our canvas is unique, original, complex, and simple. We search for similar canvases; we yearn for understanding, acceptance, appreciation, community, and collaboration.
We evolve, we change, we grow, we learn. We work to replenish our blues and greens, to showcase the diverse colours of our world; to renew, start fresh, and present the collective canvases of the world.
