Blackness is my friend
And that will never end
Don't ask where it begins
Because it is who I am
The void beckons me
You know
It's where I am free
All of the colors
They are mine
I keep them inside
Never to escape
Sparkles and glitter
Rainbows and glow
Sunshine and moonlight
Feed the magic I make
Because
Blackness is my friend
And that will never end
Don't ask where it begins
Because it is who I am
The void beckons me
You know
It's where I am free
He told me to smile
Imagine the nerve
It would only be just
If he misses the curb
This isn't your face
So keep your words to yourself
No one's your doll
I think my scowl is superb
Because
Blackness is my friend
And that will never end
Don't ask where it begins
Because it is who I am
The void beckons me
You know
It's where I am free
Just say it with cheer
No, fuck you and your check
It's not worth the regret
I'll keep my self-respect
You see, so I don't give a damn
I like my look of scorn
It matches what's inside
I guess I'm not what you expect
Because
Blackness is my friend
And that will never end
Don't ask where it begins
Because it is who I am
The void beckons me
It's where I am free
Why are you like this
Why can't you just fit in
Just make some normal friends
I'd rather sink into a black hole, embrace the quantum singularity and have time and space switch places
Cause my friends authentic
They love the darkness too
They might be weird like me
But I love their faces
Because
Blackness is my friend
And that will never end
Don't ask where it begins
Because it is who I am
The void beckons me
It's where I am free
