The Black

Calm, quiet, and dark

I rise again for another day

Rested in body

Tired in mind

>

I feel the entropy now

The atrophy

Within and without

>

The rot

In myself

And the world

>

I look at another day

Living in the moment

And want only

>

The calm, quiet

Stillness

Of the black.
