Pink, the ‘girl’s’ colour
Like bubblegum in my hair
My first hair dye colour
Blue, like the day’s sky
It replaced the Joker’s green
Relieved my poor mum
Purple, tone of grapes
I wear it in my hair now
It has since faded
The bi flag colours
One day I will wear them all
They’ll know me anew
An accident is
What I’ll swear in the presence
of rude homophobes
But the truth remains
My hair will be the bi flag
Three colours in stripes
Mistake me for the
Fair folk of northern legend
I’ll still be bi, though
A bi faerie, with
Wings that stretch across the flag
Beautiful, I’ll be
