Darkness.
The earliest memory you can have
Can be as earliest as you were in the womb.
Yellow- Illness and Optimism.
I was born with neonatal jaundice
temporary yellowing of the skin of a newborn
The nurse told my mom
To not worry
For though, I just needed to get used to
the warm light
And so I did
For the last 21 years
and what will now be known as metathesiophobia.
Metathesiophobia is the fear of change.
Beginning of middle school, high school, and college
it all hit me the same.
Now I hung on
to a hopeful view
like a child
ready to play in the summer
out in the garden full of honey-sunflowers
and have a drink of fresh lemonade
in the golden sun.
RED.
Longest wavelength
Property of appearing to be nearer than it is
Thus catches our attention first
and hence is strong and effective in its physical.
Flesh
Blood
Heart
Love
Loss
Suffer
Strength
Emotions
Is what makes me human.
Blue.
Associated often with the mind.
Strong blues will stimulate clear thought
Sometimes even providing us answers
Like the surface of the ocean water,
Reflecting my face
Reminding me again
of whom I am,
and the dark blue of its depths
reminding me
that deep inside of me
I choose who I want to become.
Soft blues
bring me peace and serenity.
Like the blues skies
when there are no storms,
even that of suspicious clouds.
Violet- Higher Level of Thought, Spiritual Awareness, Deep Contemplation.
Last visible wavelength
Associates with……… time s p a c e and cosmos.
I’m an individual
with a whole different world inside of me
on a journey, choosing what universe
I want to be.
Born out of darkness
allows us
to pick up our brush
and start painting
our worlds
our universe.
May not be able to control everything
But can always choose
how to perceive and react to it,
just as an artist
admiring their painting on the wall
with different interpretations, different hues
setting their values- how dark or light you want it.
A grey world is out of monotony
and a colored world
is from freedom and diversity.
