A Meditative Poem
For you, who belongs to the world and not to me...

Those sad eyes...
that tell me everything,
when your mouth tells me nothing.
Those round eyes...
that twinkle like the calm, ocean water at night when being touched by moonlight,
but shows the wild fire burning inside of you.
Those big eyes...
that mirrors my reflection,
but is a window, where I catch a glimpse of your soul.
Those brown eyes...
that makes me feel a lot of things,
without even being touched.
Those childlike eyes...
that was hurt and bullied by life,
and is now filled with sins and adultery.
Those innocent eyes...
that has now committed the crime of stealing
my attention,
my breath,
my thoughts,
my inner peace.
The “naked eye” of yours...
that seems to undress, strip me off of all of my secrets and lies,
exposing me in the nude of all of my truths and real desires.
You are the apple of my eye,
but my forbidden fruit,
that will be the fall of me.
