The Beauty of Diversity

E7

By James GreenPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Once stood a man of great renown,

Who claimed that diversity's just a noun,

That every man and beast should be the same,

With not a hint of difference in their frame.

But then, one day, as he walked through the land,

He met a creature, quite unique and grand,

Its wings so wide, its eyes so bright,

It made him wonder if he saw aright.

And as he gaped, with awe and surprise,

The creature spoke, with gentle and wise,

"Dear sir," it said, "I hope you can see,

That diversity's the reason I'm free."

The man was struck, by the creature's reply,

And realised, he was wrong, oh my!

For diversity's what makes life so rich,

And beauty's found, in each and every glitch.

And so, the man, with newfound grace,

Spread the word, in every place,

That diversity's the key to peace,

And all of life, should cherish and release.

So let us all, with open hearts and mind,

Embrace diversity, of every kind,

For in our differences, we will unite,

And build a world, that shines so bright.
