The Beautiful Spirits Among Us
About Man's Best Friend
They are not even human,
but we know all about them.
They invade our space
and sniff amongst our hem.
They bark and bite at us,
but we always come back again.
They are the most precious to us,
our canine friends.
They jump in our lap
and beg for our food.
They take lots of naps
and pick up on our moods.
They are our solace
in any time of need;
they give to all of us
from any canine breed.
They don’t know patience,
just watch them feed;
they are in love with life,
smitten by its greed.
When they are grateful,
they try to lick our face,
and they make us smile
when we feel disgrace.
As long as they are with us,
our pups feel at home.
Man’s best friend is the night
in which he never feels alone.
Man's best friend
let's his heart be known.
If you, too, have a dog
just throw them a bone.
