A Poem

Sunlight bleeds through the pines

There’s a bear on the path before me

A strange man approaches from the rear

I run towards the bear

Because I know what it wants

But the man will stalk me until he has what he wants

Just as he does the deer over there

Thus I run to the safety of the bear

Without fear or care
