The Australian Jacaranda Tree
I love tree’s, this one however caught my eye for a poem

The Australian Jacaranda Tree
It blooms when the air begins to warm
when the spring forgets the cold
and the streets of Sydney
turn soft at the edges
Not shy, not quiet
it takes over
without asking
painting the pavement
in lilac snow
Children walk beneath it
books in arms
purple petals in their hair
like secrets dropped by the sky
Old men remember
kisses under branches
that once looked just like this
a season
caught in slow motion
The jacaranda does not whisper
it announces itself
then lets go
without apology
No flower here lasts long
but this one stays in the mind
long after it falls.

It's showing off now in my region in California.
Lovely verse. Love trees you made this one come alive.
That's first time i listen about the tree, That's helpful
I love it when the jacarandas come out 💜 Cleaning up the petals can be a full-time job though!
