The Age of Aquarius

in Three Dimensions

By Shirley BelkPublished 6 months ago 1 min read
(Eric Faw' you tube) Age of Aquarius by The 5th Dimension

Part I

How big was it? How tall? How long?

What made it so good, this "Aquarius" song?

Part II

Why did it bring our mother such joy when "it," we sang?

Was it our harmony, our delivery, or 'cause we were "her" gang?

Part III

“The whole is greater than the sum of the parts”

The three of us together, showing her love with our hearts!

****************************************************************

Etched in the many memories deep inside my soul is one of the joy I remember seeing in my mother's face when her three children choreographed and performed the song, "The Age of Aquarius" back in 1969, just for her...I was 15, my brother 9, and my sister 5. I remember the pride and love in her eyes and the applause. I can still remember the lyrics although fifty plus years have passed.

Lovely reading this… it was a solid effort, the three of you performing it for your mother.

Yep, this song was around in our house and every where we went. Something about this helps visualize the era. Great tribute
