The Afterglow

December the 26th

Swirls of white snow whoosh

Past the windows

Dancing in the air

The fireplace is roaring

The orange glow

Lights the room

Snuggled next to you

We sigh

Where did December go?

The gifts unpacked

The children are asleep

And now it's our turn

To relax and enjoy

This quiet time

With the tree all aglow

Time to celebrate! This is my 100th Vocal story!!!

Thanks to everyone who had read my stories and poems for your hearts and your comments!
