The Adventures of Little Red Riding Hood

A Fun and Imaginative Children's Poem About a Classic Tale

By Vishal FaustinoPublished 3 years ago 1 min read

Listen close, to the story we'll tell,

Of a little girl, who knew her way well.

Her name was Red, and she loved to roam,

Through the woods, that felt like home!

One day, she set out, with a basket in hand,

To visit her grandma, across the land.

She walked and skipped, and sang a tune,

Through the meadow and under the moon!

But as she walked, a wolf appeared,

His eyes so sly, his voice so weird.

He asked, "Where you headed, little one?"

"To my grandma's house, under the sun."

The wolf said, "I know a shortcut or two,

I can lead the way, it's what I'll do."

Red was hesitant, but followed his lead,

Through the woods, at a faster speed.

But soon enough, the wolf revealed his plan,

To gobble up Red and her basket, by the river and dam.

Red was quick, and used her wit,

To outsmart the wolf, who was not a bit.

She tricked him, and made her escape,

To her grandma's house, where she was safe.

The wolf was caught, and ran away,

To never bother Red, another day!

So listen close, to this story so true,

Of a brave little girl, who knew what to do.

The Adventures of Little Red Riding Hood,

A tale of courage, and doing what's good!
