A Nonet on Success Perspectives
Success. That elusive entity. All of us spend much of our time chasing it and trying to make it our own. It’s hard to blame us because, like it or not, we need it for survival.
Not that it’s wrong to manifest success. It should be encouraged; all of us are deserving of it in every way. But as we chase that ace, what is the compromise regarding relationships? That’s something to think about.
Cherish the Queen of Hearts.

The Ace of Whispers
Ace
Faint sound
Whispers soft
Their tone unheard
The busy hands now chase
The apex of the cards
But its sound subsides, softer
Weakens as we near to the touch
And we push aside the Queen of Hearts.
