Attempting to communicate the intangible.

Bullets, fights, tears, and joy,

Side by side they have the ability

To put someone back together,

Or tear them apart.

They can evoke a sense of tranquility;

Provoking a stillness of even a beating heart.

They attempt to convey what can't

Be said face to face.

They can cease an endlessly wandering mind,

Or put thought and meaning in an empty one.

They remain untouched in a world of change.
