The 1970’s, A Life Time Ago
The best years of my life

The 1970’s, A Life Time Ago
In the days of hot plants
and platform shoes,
when style was bold,
and there was nothing to lose,
girls would tease
with a playful air,
their sexy legs,
a daring flair.
The ’70s, a time
of wild, pure fun,
a golden era for music
had just begun.
The beats were fresh,
the rhythms alive,
a decade where culture
truly thrived.
Disco lights and roller skates,
dance floors packed
as the night awaits.
Bell-bottom jeans
and flared-out seams,
living the magic
of youthful dreams.
A vibrant world
of carefree days,
the ’70s shone
in a thousand ways.
A memory etched,
a story told,
a moment in time,
forever bold.
I wish I was back there
once more,
where love was free,
and hearts would soar.
When joy was simple,
and life was play,
dancing through rain
at the close of day.
The music played,
and the world felt right,
under the stars
of a velvet night.
No cares to bind,
no fears to keep,
just laughter echoing,
wild and deep.
The ’70s glow,
a timeless flame,
a piece of heaven
we’d never tame.
Oh, to return,
to feel that again—
with hearts intertwined,
we were wild and unchained.
