That Time the Sky Forgot Its Name

Experimental / Weird & Wonderful

The sky once forgot

how to be blue.

Birds flapped around,

asking the wind

for directions.

The sun yawned,

spilled golden juice

on rooftops.

No one noticed

but the trees—

they stood taller,

hoping to catch

its name

before it returned.
