No aspirin, no crutch, eases the pain like that of a rose
White ivory blush and gentle sweet smell penetrate my soul
Refreshing fragrance fuels that stride that I need in my long journey to survive
I stand upright; a strong hold of desire for you
Through wilt and willow, you grant me the finesse to glide the earth with strength and endurance
Love amphetamine percolates my blood, arteries, capillaries, and bone
Redden petals curl, voluptuous velvet, blue iris gleam
Delightful aroma fills my nose
Giggles and chuckles make up prickle and thorn
At night, ice freckles freeze on your lips
Melting, as I kiss them, inviting the morning dew
No cane soothes my gait like that of a rose
The vining, wrapping, prickly stems twine my mind,
convoluting cerebral fissures
Poking patient thoughts that awaken my consciousness
Surfacing, the senses I long for, the eternal pill
My medicine, a rose

You really envoke the beauty of a rose with this poem. Love the image of ice on the petals.
