So few words, yet so much depth. The autumnal imagery and quiet melancholy linger beautifully long after reading.
This brings back a memory. Of butterflies chasing each other. But what you've described here is far more beautiful, far more impressive. Scarlet leaves chasing copper. You made us feel as though they are alive. As if they tell a story as they chased each other. The last line almost echoes. Fantastic work Dani 🤗❤️
Lovely work! So gorgeously-crafted! Go Dani! I adored both of your falling leaves entries! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾💪🏾🎉🧡🫶🏾🫶🏾
Oh wow, this was so beautiful! I especially loved your last line!
That's incredible such a story in so few words. The imagery and emotion are so vivid.
Such a beautiful haiku!
“Loss flutters” - great onomatopoeia word choice, Dani. 😊🍁
Beautiful, autumn is so fleeting. I love the falling leaves picture/video you included, too.
