That Horrible Person
We’ve all had that promising connection turn sour…
Whenever you think a person is terrible
Think again.
Are they?
Or are you?
Maybe just maybe
They are there to show you
Where you have flaws
That you have never considered flaws before..
I am who I am, right?
What’s wrong with being passionate?
Nothing, but maybe your passion needs
To be over here
Not there
And this “terrible” person is going to show you that, the hard way
Or so it feels
But the hard lesson is going to be more effective
Than just fading away with a smile.
Clear your energies
An adult discussion may be on the cards one day
Meanwhile
Just you do you.
It’s all anyone can really do.
