Thank you, Mom

Oh, Mom, my dearest, kindest one,

This poem is for you, my shining sun.

I want to thank you for all you've done,

For your love, your care, and all the fun.

From the moment I took my first breath,

You've been there for me, through thick and thin.

You've taught me to walk, to talk, to sing,

And to always be true to myself within.

You've shown me the world, with its beauty and grace,

And helped me to grow, with your love and embrace.

You've always been there, to cheer me on,

Even when I've strayed, or felt down and gone.

Thank you, Mom, for all that you do,

For being my best friend, my guide too.

I'm so grateful for your love and care,

And for always being there, everywhere.

Thank you, Mom, for all you've done,

You're the best mom under the sun.

Your love is like a guiding light,

That shines so bright, both day and night.

I'm so lucky to have you as my Mom,

You're my rock, my guiding star, my palm.

I love you more than words can say,
