When we find love
We have found art
To decorate the dark
That surrounds us for miles
When we close our eyes.
This is why
We kiss,
We dream,
We seek inner peace,
We die
With closed eyes
And open hearts.
I look at a picture of her.
A few teardrops fall
From the glow
In her smile alone.
I see all the love she believes in.
Something is too real
In just thoughts of her.
In her magical heartbeat.
I think her hands came before mine,
Made a sculpture of my mind.
We seem destined to meet.
In the spiritual realm
Our hearts grew up on Love Street.
Before her
I wouldn't change my name
I wouldn't move away
But if I could have her,
I would one day.
I feel she is a part of me
Through and Through.
When people ask my name
When I write my name
All I want to feel
Toward myself is true.
