Thoughts

Tenacious, titillating

Tempting, tantalizing, trapping

Theme, tempo, twists, turmoil

Teeming, tumbling, transforming

Tentative, tedious

Terrible typing

***

I thought I'd jump on the trend and see if I could put together a tautogram with a Diamante form. As with any poetic form, there are several opinions on how this one should be structured. I loosely followed one that goes something like this:

---

Noun: subject

Adjective adjective: descriptive of subject

Verb verb verb: participles ("ed" or "ing" endings)

Noun noun noun noun: (related to subject)

Verb verb verb: I chose to relate these to the 4 nouns above

Adjective adjective (These could relate to the subject, but I think they align better with the last line.)

Word word (I chose an adjective and a noun)

---

As for the poem itself, it describes the chaos of my writing process, particularly with poetry. My mind is constantly tumbling words.

I hope you enjoy the peek at my psychosis! Thanks for reading!

I kinda relate to this way more than I thought would be possible, haha! I loved the extra information about the structure and format like a BTS and also that the piece itself is a BTS. My process is similar...I usually have a billion ideas or mini ideas floating around in my head or my WIP folder until I know what to do with them lol. Loved it!

I love the idea of thoughts as being a bit chaotic and works perfectly in this form! I especially with tautogram which has had my head spinning at times lol. Well done ❀️

Terrible typingπŸ˜…... I can relate. This was great, I love the style you used, and the honesty told through the letter T.

Well, that was super cool!! 😁 I loved the tautogram itself and learned something new too! I really need to do some reading on different poetry forms haha

I think you succeeded with the form. Just remember that rules are made to be twisted terribly twice 'til Tuesday!
