Tell me your name

So I can try and forget

the feeling of your tongue on my neck

Yell your name

So I can remember

The ambers that made us burn brighter together

Confess your name

To those who came before

So they can know why you won’t be at my door

Whisper your name

So I can drown the silence of lost innocence

Beg for my name

So it can be back on your lips

My name is not yours to say

Tell me your name

So I can forget

Jazzy I love the passionate and sultry feel of this poem! It felt affectionate but also laced with maybe the regret of thoughtless actions, something like a one night stand..? Overall it was a great read and so well written. Nicely done! Also congratulations on Top Story! 🎉

Captivating 🔥 I love how the repetition contradicts itself in some ways. As if the narrator is fighting with themself. Great job!
