Techno-Tinkering
Tried and true
Timely tales to tell,
to those too timid to try
to test their tenacity
ten to twenty times.
Those too tender to tend,
to tasks that take time,
tempted to take tangents,
turning toil into trifle.
Tinkering, till trapped,
too tired to turn,
the thing toward
tested techniques.
Tempted to take,
the track to terse,
trendy technology,
to think them through.
The talented troubadour
trending toward
tech-texted tropes.
To trick the teacher,
to tell that,
they took this travail,
to the top tier.
Though, to truly triumph,
try taking the time,
to trudge toward,
truth’s testy totality.
