Technicolor Motion

Energy Release

By K.B. Silver Published 6 months ago 1 min read

Energy racing up and down

inside and out

I let it flow round

pushing it out, then yanking it back

⋆⁺₊⋆ 🌈

Letting the bubble float above my head

I spin using the energy

Holding it between

the palms of my hands

as an anchoring point

for my built-up momentum

⋆⁺₊⋆ 🌈🟣

Every time I throw myself away

I keep hold of the ball

reversing the move

rocking the sway

⋆⁺₊⋆ 🌈🟣

Leaving it in the center

I bound and twist

never allowing it to transition or slip

⋆⁺₊⋆ 🌈🟣

Rotating and revolving like a

satellite stuck in its gravity

expending all of my

pent up energies

⋆⁺₊⋆ 🌈🟣

Spending motion like

it’s cold hard currency

slapping down the bills

watching the coins spin

on edge till they stop

⋆⁺₊⋆ 🌈🟣

Not dropping to my side

just posing

heaving

hard satisfied breaths

⋆⁺₊⋆ 🌈🟣

The kind you know you

got your money’s worth

the cool-down comes

the crackling ball dissipates

slow deliberate moves

to siphon the heat

⋆⁺₊⋆ 🌈

Pump the air brakes

the hissing and collapse

finally at peace

I can rest now

the energy released
