Tears, tears, falling down

Like raindrops from a stormy cloud

They speak of joy, they speak of pain

Of happiness, and of love in vain

They come in moments of sorrow

When grief and loss fill the morrow

They wash away the hurt and pain

And cleanse the heart of all disdain

They come in moments of delight

When happiness shines bright as light

They sparkle with joy and laughter

And make the heart beat faster

They come in moments of love

When passion flies high above

They express the depth of emotions

And reveal the heart's true devotions

Tears, tears, falling down

A symbol of life's ups and downs

They remind us of our humanity

And bring us closer to our divinity.
