ITS MY RAIN

As I feel the rain on my skin, I am reminded of how small I've been, In the grand scheme of things, I'm just a part, Of the rain's journey, from sky to heart.

ITS MY RAIN

Raindrops falling on my face, A soothing touch, a sweet embrace, Cool and gentle, they dance and play, As I stand still, in the midst of the day.

Each drop a gift from the sky, A treasure that no one can buy, Cleansing the world, washing away, All of the worries and cares of the day.

As I feel the rain on my skin, I am reminded of how small I've been, In the grand scheme of things, I'm just a part, Of the rain's journey, from sky to heart.

So I close my eyes, and let it pour, A reminder of what's worth living for, Simple pleasures, that fill us with glee, Like the rain falling on me.
