Tears falling endlessly, like a river,

No promises of ceasing, no hope of delivering

My heart broken by a tragedy, none others know,

The pain and agony that I carry so low

An ache deep within me, no one else can feel,

A sorrow unspoken that silently reveals

My spirit exhausted from the hurt and strain,

My mind clouded in despair from all the pain

No one to turn to, nowhere to hide,

No way of escaping this never-ending ride

All I can do is just keep on going forward,

Trying my best not to be overcome by any turmoil or discord

I know deep down it will take time for my wounds to heal,

But until then I must find a strength

A soul so heavy with sadness and pain,

That the salty tears flow in an endless rain

Loneliness is felt in the silent night,

The heart aches for love and its light

Unable to recognize joy or feel its embrace,

Just a deep well of sorrow that doesn't abate

Held captive by overwhelming despair,

Every moment feels like an eternity there

With no end in sight to the sadness within,

One can only cry until peace descends again

Memories linger of happier moments in time,

But they do nothing to stop this heartbreaking rhyme
