Tears
~ Dedicated to Sabrina Blaze for giving me the idea ~
I took my daughter
Walking down the aisle at church
And saw her saying
Those simple words that mean she's gone.
She was smiling,
The way it shows she is full of trust
She seems complete
I know she will never be alone.
-*-
My tears are running
My hope is high, but I can't contain
The feels of losing
The rocks that keep me from flying away.
Moments like raindrops
Tied to storms hitting my face
Waiting for sunlight
Telling myself that I'm meant to live
for another day.
-*-
I saw my son
Walking down the stage at school
And caught him smiling
Holding the card that means he is done.
He was shining
The way he shines when he makes big plans
He seems relieved
I know he will never lose his hope.
-*-
My tears are running
My hope is high, but I can't contain
The feels of losing
The rocks that keep me from flying away.
Moments like raindrops
Tied to storms hitting my face
Waiting for sunlight
Telling myself that I'm meant to live
for another day.
-*-
I saw my shadow
Moving across the floor at home
But I'm always ready
I have my kids, all of their dreams, and our true Love.

Awww so sweet.
I saw love shimmering like an apparition— a beautiful elf promising me with a smile that as long as faith exists, we will always live for one more day. For us and our children. Without shadows. Light everywhere. Deeply moved by the dedication.
