I spend far too much time pouring over things in my mind because the alternative is to just forget, and I don’t want to do that. I don’t want to wake and find the entries gone and lost like a plane to sea or a boat to air
The many tears I cried over nothing
That nothing was once something
Or should I say someone, not nothing
Many many are the tears I shed
In grief, disbelief, and despair

This is heavy but beautiful. I can really feel the grief in your words.
Just to feel alive…
“That nothing was once something” - wow, true and profound words. Be happy, we are here with you!!
I really feel the depth of what you're saying here, as it is relatable, and it's clear how much you care about holding onto these memories even when it hurts.
forgetting is erasing lessons
Such a relatable piece. Things we go through always feel so bad when we are going through them. Some things seem like they will last forever... but the tears we cry are never wasted and SHOULD never be forgotten. Hope you're well!
This was so freaking relatable. I'm so sorry you're feeling down Sir Paul 🥺 Sending you lots of love and hugs ❤️
I think most of us will resonate with this more than we might let on. We are at once completely alone - and absolutely shared/connected - in these sorts of pains. We're with you, mate. Brilliant, evocative expression of deep feelings, here.
I can relate-the tears were once someone/something-it may seem like we are wasting energy on it but sometimes remembering is the right choice.
Same, mate. Love this.
