Lifeless bodies in the streets.

Bloodstained sidewalks under tattered feet.

Lives that are shattered.

Exhausted from all of the fighting.

A world full of broken people

People who are good at surviving.

They know how to hide their scars.

No one knows the battles they have fought.

The wars they have one.

They live with unseen scars.

And scars in plain sight.

Like a never-ending void.

The darkness is coming.

There is no help in sight.

A sense of overwhelming dread.

All hope is lost.

There is nothing more for us to do here.

This is the end for us all.
