Taste the rainbow

It began to rain but the sun was still shining ,

The result came as a rainbow ,

It was perfect , the timing ,

Most people went for shelter , I know ,

But , I stayed for the view ,

And it was amazing ,

Some kids stayed too ,

To do some gazing ,

I , too , gazed at the sight,

of the dazzling rainbow ,

With utmost delight ,

I tasted the rainbow .
