Tasks

So you’re telling me

That some people

Some where

Can think of a task

And just

Do it?

There is no waiting period

Or loading screen

They just have a thought

And then carry it out?

Where I’m from,

In my brain,

Any task is predated with a hype up period

A portion of time is set aside for switching between

Task A and Task B

And things short circuit if that time is lost.

And you’re telling me

That in that same amount of time,

Some people can go

from Task A to Task B to Task C

With no break in between?

I don’t know,

I think that sounds fake.

fact or fiction
