Fortune tellers know the cards

The Tarot

In shadows where whispers dwell,

A tale unfolds, a warning bell,

The tarot speaks with ancient eyes,

Of two-faced liars, masked in guise.

With every shuffle, secrets stir,

The cards lay bare what hearts infer,

The Lovers' pose, a smile so sweet,

Yet hidden thorns lie 'neath their feet.

The Moon reflects their wavering truth,

A dance of doubt, a fleeting sleuth,

Illusions shimmer, bright and bold,

Yet betrayals lurk in tales untold.

The Seven of Swords, a cunning thief,

Wrapped in charm, they douse your grief,

They promise sun, yet bring the rain,

A tapestry of joy and pain.

So heed the signs, let wisdom steer,

In every smile, a hint of fear,

For those who wield a double tongue,

Can twist your fate 'til hope is hung.

With every card a lesson learned,

Trust not the fire where shadows burned,

Protect your heart, keep ghosts at bay,

For the truth will light a safer way.

In tarot's lore, a guide appears,

To steer from fools and calm your fears,

Embrace the light, let honesty reign,

For in the truth, you'll break their chain.

I think Tarot cards are a good way to get ideas for writing stories. Good job.
