Tame Your Emotions

For productive writng sessions

On some days,

the ideal flow is

coherent, effortless,

you just type.

This morning was,

one such fruitful one.

In just two hours,

I wrote multiple articles

for Substack, Medium,

and Vocal Media,

feeling euphoria.

I still feel energetic,

fresh and ecstatic.

So much I can write,

without feeling fatigue.

What is the cause?

Well, we humans

are driven by emotions,

we are creatures hormones,

and neurotransmitters too.

If they are balanced,

we can do wonders —

be hyper-productive.

If they are imbalanced,

we call it, by many names,

anxiety, writer’s block,

a foggy mind, or unhappiness.

So do yourself a favor.

Make a vow — to honor,

your body's rules,

to reduce acidity,

keep it in normal range,

so your brain chemistry,

stays healthy,

you will be productive,

having fun all the way.
